Hysteroresectoscopic myomectomy in case of ectopic pregnancy. Professor Puchkov K.V. is performing an operation (2011)
The patient is operated on for the submucous node, type 2 (3 cm). During the operation the monopolar resectoscope (Karl Storz Company) is used. Activating the electrode, by means of the translational movements towards the cone of the resectoscope, excision of the fragments of the node is done, up to the soft muscular tissue of the wall of uterus. At the end of the operation node fragments are removed with the help of the curette. To prevent development of synechia thick anticommisural gel is introduced into the uterine cavity. Operation duration is 35 minutes.
