This film presents stages of a rare operation in the pediatric practice-laparoscopic detorsion and splenopexy in an 8 year-old child who has got torsion of a ‘wandering” spleen, located in pelvis. The main stages of operation are as follows: revision of a spleen, its detorsion, formation of a “pouch” for spleen placing and fixation of the spleen in the retroperitoneal fat of the left lateral canal, shifting and fixation of the spleen in the left lateral canal with defect stitching of the parietal abdomen.
