Mario Malzoni is one of the youngest guru of the endoscopic surgery and gynecology, he has continued the doctors’ dynasty house of Malzoni. He is the Head of the net of medical Malzoni institutions, situated in the South of Italy. He was born in 1969; after graduation from Naples University, he was carried away by the endoscopic surgery at the age of 24. Both his father and grandfather were doctors-gynecologists, loyal to their profession. Under the guidance of his father Marion did his first steps in surgical gynecology - he was present at the operations, he learned how to communicate with patients, mastered surgical techniques, inherited family secrets of surgical mastership.

From the primary source of the world laparoscopy – the department of laparoscopic surgery of the University of Columbia (the U.S.A.) – a young surgeon Mario Malzoni tried to master the newest at that time (it was more than 20 years ago) surgical speciality under the guidance of its founder Professor Harry Rich. After 3 years of working on probation at the Columbia University Mario Malzony returned back home, worked actively there, mastered new techniques of treatment, constantly practiced and trained. Within the last 30 years Mario Malzoni has become one of the most outstanding gynecologists-endoscopists of Europe under the guidance the eldest representatives of his Malzoni family. He continued what his father and grandfather had started-created the Centre of surgery of organs of pelvis and endometriosis (endoscopicamalzoni.it) as a part of family clinic in Avellino.

Professor Malzoni is one of the pioneers in investigating oncofertility-preserving of fertility in females after treatment of oncological diseases, using preparations for chemotherapy.

Professor Malzoni is the Head of 3 clinics in the South of Italy - in Naples, Salerno and Avellino, as well as in Rome. In addition to management of the medical institutions, on average Professor Malzoni performs on about 2,000 operations annually, including laparoscopic treatment of cancer of uterine cervix, laparoscopic treatment of pathology of uterus, laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic treatment of ovarian cancer, etc.

Within many years he perfectly mastered and obtained professional certificates on oncology, general surgery, colorectal surgery. It gives a possibility to Mario Malzoni to perform operations on for tumours in the field of gynecology, with extensive endometriosis with lesion of intestines and other diseases, that are not operated by the majority of other laparoscopic surgeons in Italy and Western Europe.

Professor Malzoni is the Head of the Centre and is managing it, he himself created it - it is the Center of surgery of organs of pelvis and endometriosis (Avellino, Italy). Mario has collected the specialists on laparoscopic surgery, gynecologists under one and the same roof. Malzoni is proud that everybody from his young specialists is not elder than 30. All of them have mastered several surgical specialities: oncology, colorectal surgery, urology. That is why when they are treating oncological and gynecological diseases of organs of pelvis and endometriosis, they never invite doctors of other specialities..

• He is a consultant of Endoscopic Surgery and Pobotic Surgery Clinica Ruesch (Naples, Italy).
• He is a Director of the Centre of Gynecological Endoscopy.
• He is a Director of the National Centre of Endometriosis.
• He is an adjunct-professor of oncogynecology and endoscopic gynecology of the 2-nd Naples University and University in Fodga.
• He is a Member of the Directors’ Council of the International Society of Gynecological Endoscopists (ISGE).
• He is a Co-founder and partner of Surgery U-site of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists (AAFL).
• He is an Honorary Member of Australien-Asiatic Society of Gynecological Endoscopists.
• He is a Member of the International Society of Gynecological Endoscopists.
• He was a National Secretary (2005-2007) of the Italian Society of Gynecological Endoscopists ( SEGI).
• He is a Member of the Scientific Committee of Italian Association of Endometriosis (MEA).

Within the last 10 years Mario Malzoni used to visit Russia minimum twice a year - mainly, Moscow and St.Petersburg. Besides, Professor Malzoni manages educational seminars in his own Centre of surgery of organs of pelvis and endometriosis for doctors from Russia and ex-republics of the U.S.S.R. Within a week invited doctors get acquaintance with operations, performed, using the most modern equipment.
